12:18 pm - I figure its about time I came back to this old place
*Blows dust off his LiveJournal account*
*cough* *Cough* *cough*
wow, that had more dust than my old Sega system!
It's finally spring, but I have no idea what the weather is like, practicing for a presentation that may or may not be on monday (or may or may not be on tuesday (or may or may not be on wednesday (or may or may not be on thursday, as long as it was not on any previous day)))
Should be fun though, I get to talk about shyness in relation to social skills, and how being introverted/extroverted actually has no relation to the context of being shy (or not being shy)
I just need to find one of those quizzes where you like pick the picture you like the most, but one about being shy, cause then it would only take up like 2 slides in my presentation and would easily and effectively get the class involved. If anyone knows of such the perfect quiz, please let me know (Maeode@hotmail.com, 905-547-9360, 905-518-7837)
Yea, first year of University almost coming to a close now. First term was shaky, as long as I get a 25 combined grade point in my 5 classes this term I'll be allowed to stay next year. Even if I do though I might go to Mohawk for a year to do their pre-tech course while I talk to other students in some of the technology courses (I know Shawn Worley is going into computer networking or something, which I think I would find very interesting)
It's not that I really don't like University (which i actually do not for the most part, hahaha, but maybe its just the number of people, class sizes would be smaller at Mohawk as well, which I enjoy a lot more!)
www.purepwnage.com
Yea, I did it. I went there. I plugged an internet show that I really like in my LiveJournal. What are you gonna do about? (BTW, Jeremy (the star) is selling his hair on Ebay which ends today, and it's currently up to $4,961.88 Candian <.<)
I went to the episode 9 screening and the episode 10 screening which were in Toronto though, fun times. During the episode 10 one I got there without a hitch, episode 9 got a little bit lost I think. I had thought Theresa went to Humber north, but in fact she goes to Humber lakeshore or something... It was a fun trip, good thing we left like 5 hours early, hahaha.
Went to a comedy show last night in Toronto at a place called 'Second City', wow, it was hilarious. Great night. At one point some of the people in the show were crawling all over the floor under tables and chairs all between the crowd xD xD xD
Yea... Hmmm, theres so much I 'could' say, but most of it happened so long ago :P I guess the downside of not checking this in a year, lol

People see calmness in your eyes. You like to keep
cool in a crisis. You know that if you don't
panic, things will be worked out much quicker
and with fewer hitches. People probably end up
feeling less worried when they are around you.
You've got a good attitude. Keep it up.

Life is all about balance. Darkness can't be
without light, and light can't be without
darkness. You see everything through different
angeles to gain perspective over situations.
You act rather rational and people can find you
stiff and/or emotionless due to this. Life is
not really that good to you, yet it's not so
bad. Like everything else, you need to balance
it in order to find peace.
How do you see life?

Your element is Water. You have a calm aura around
you and are in tune with the world around. You
observe it but rarely interfere. Because of
your shy and timid nature you will not have so
many friends in your life. But then again,
large crowds aren't your thing anyway. You are
comfortable on your own and are reserved to
others who you don't know or know very little
of. You know everyone out there does not want
to be your friend, and knowing that is good.
However, people who don't know you that well
thinks that you are cold and distant since you
don't want to talk to them. Although you mean
no harm, you can't always be perfectly
understood in the world. No one can. Life in
general are you quite serene with even if there
are some things you don't like. Your love-life
is not so full of boys/girls, but if you
flirted more with the ones you were interested
in I'm sure something would happen. The hobbies
you choose are calmer ones, you are no party
person that likes to drink and make-out with
three or more guys/girls in one night. Reading
a book or swimming is more your thing. Rate and
message!

| Der Kommandant Achtung! You are 38% brainwashworthy, 50% antitolerant, and 42% blindly patriotic |
| Brilliant, opportunistic, and patriotic to a fault, and not so fond of people who aren't just like you, you are like a Nazi General. Put into Germany in the 1940's, you would have been at the top of the asshole list. Not for Nazism, necessarily, but for your own sick, twisted values. Then, out of superior intelligence (relative to other Nazis, that is), you would've climbed to the top. Conclusion: You would have been a Nazi, or at least aided them well and gladly. |

| Your brain: 100% interpersonal, 120% visual, 40% verbal, and 140% mathematical! |
| Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers. Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

04:05 pm - Hutches next Friday at 8:00! (June 24 2005)
Well I want to do something fun to start off this summer since it's my graduation year ^_^
This isn't just restricted to people who are graduating, we have our own grad dinner/dance party for that later. This is just a general exams are over/summer is starting party.
I have room for 2 more in my car so first 2 to ask will have spots.
If everyone can try to meet at hutches for 8:00pm or a bit later because sun set is at 9:02pm and 9:34pm is when twilight ends, so it seems like a good time to be there.
That's more or less it. Feel free to post comments or questions.

07:05 pm - Kind of lost and confused
Feeling a bit lost right now...
In a bit of a daze because of my soon coming Chemisty final exam (which is tomorrow...) I'll get through it, and then it will finally be over...
But thats not the only thing on my mind... Just a minute ago I thought of an analogy that I think sums up what's going through my mind
I'm on this bus, which I got on because it will carry me in the direction that I want to go, but eventually I'll reach the end of the line, it's a part of using the bus, but at least it got me closer to my final destination. I'm on this bus because I thought I knew where I wanted to end up, but now as it's getting closer to the last stop I'm beginning to look around me, and I have no idea where I am. I'm still on the bus right now, but when I get to that stop I want to stay in the bus terminal for a bit, take a look around and get to know my surroundings and decide where to go, but instead I've already decided that I'm going to just walk right out of that station until I end up somewhere...
If it's not as obvious to everyone else, the bus is Sir Winston Churchill. The terminal is the time between SWC and post-secondary, and even though I'm not sure why I'm going to Mohawk... I just hope it all works out in the end...
Looking at all this new gaming info as the dust of E3 settles is really intersting ^_^ So much data to sift through :-D The Metal Gear Solid 4 stuff is especially exciting. Tons of anything on everything! At least I won't be bored for a long time with all this to look at :-P

06:10 pm - Throw down your face! (A.K.A. I'll cut your mama!)
This is my journal dedicated to my long weekend ^_^ Since it's possible you'll hear a lot of this from other people anyway I'll say everything that comes to mind, without leaving parts out that I think of :-D
Friday:
The fun begins at about 9:30 when I wake up, I begin to pack. I did a really good job ^_^ usually I forget lots of things that I really could have used, but all I really forgot was my spice for food. Then when i was done packing and checking over kit at about 11:45 the waiting begins. Jessica said she'd pick me up at noon. It was 12:15 before I recieved a call telling me they were on their way.
The trip to Byng Island wasn't too long, and before I knew it we were at our site and began to set up. It was a really nice site with a strip of forest separating us from the stupid kids from Hamilton that we knew would be doing stupid things and would probably get into some form of trouble at one point or another.
Shortly after we set up we all sat down and shared in some glass bottled coke ^_^ That stuff is still so amazingly good. The rest of the day consisted of us talking and finding sticks around in the forest that we would use for roasting marshmellows and hotdogs on throughout each night.
It was at this time that the 'May 2-4 Staff' came into existence, but we shall talk about it later for it was a work of art that took the whole weekend to complete.
Later that night others arrived, in their camps seperated from us by the strip of forest, and Brendan came to our site, he arrived later but was camping with us. At some time Josh, Jessica, Brendan and Will began to drink. I didn't mind I was having a good time just being in the fresh outdoors ^_^ I think at this time I was asked to taste different mixed drinks, they were all very good, but I was against consuming alcohol. Jessica almost ruined the burgers, but I took over and saved all, including her veggie burger (which tastes like some sort of cantanese meat)
Saturday:
The day began well ^_^ There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and breakfast consisting of Hashbrowns, Eggs, and Bacon was enjoyed by all. A racoon was a jerk and smashed our glass lantern some time early that morning, I wasn't aware but everyone else had woken up and was yelling at it, I'm a heavy sleeper.
I think we all just sort of sat around again until Andy K. said we should go to his grandma's cottage and go for a swim ^_^ Everyone was very excited at this idea, so we loaded up some swim gear and headed off to the cottage. It was a very nice spot right on the shore of Lake Erie, very hidden off of the main road, and there were quite a few cottages around. Would be a really nice place to go in the summer for a while. Josh Shawn and Will all said the water was too cold :-P I suppose I like cold water because it didn't seemt that bad. Jessica took a picture of us all first running into the lake. It must be a funny picture because right at the shore the bottom of the water is first very rocky and spiky, then very slimy and slipery, and then it becomes nice soft sand. Josh Shawn and Will all got back out saying it was too cold, I swam about a good 50-60 feet and was paddling around. It was very cold but after a while my body got used to it and it was very nice. Will came back in to give me some company. Swimming is no fun when you're alone. Will and myself stayed in for a bit but then got out because everyone wanted to leave.
We went into town for some needed supplies, plates and cups I think, and then headed back to the camp. I think it was around here that we started tent jumping, lol. Just about the dumbest thing ever, but it was funny to watch :-P Our neighbours two sites down watched us do this and actually nick named Josh 'Lawndart' because he landed on it head after diving over the tent. Some time later that night we had a massive fire going and everyone wanted me to try some shots, to celebrate since it was the long weekend and all :-P I did so, and became Josh's padawan learner so I could learn the ways of shot taking. In my drinks, mixed and straight shots, over the whole night I had two shots of southern comfort, a shot of vodka, and a shot of whiskey. All of it tasted very good and made me feel kind of funny ^_^ Nothing really too over the hill though. And that night I slept so well, I was very refreshed in the morning.
Sunday:
Once again nothing really happened :-P Put the final touches on the May 2-4 Staff by adding a lightning bolt symbol near the handle, and then fell alseep in the sun with my sleeves rolled up (to avoid a farmers tan)
The rest of the day kind of went by, I don't think anything really happened until later that night. Shawn had an extra 26'er of Smirnoff still 6/10's full that I bought off him for cheap (this was mine to drink later that night) Josh and Jessica had a full bottle of what I had to split between then, and Shawn still had a half full 26'er of Southern Comfort. We all took shots, I took mine slower, and lasted my bottle further into the night than the others, but I did finish it ^_^ Everyone else was much worse off that I was though, and this was my first time drinking, lol, so my Irish blood must give me natural resistances :-P
The guys across from us though, Mike Steve and Lenny were hilarious and told us some of the most amazing stories ever. I'll type of two of the best ones here, but if you ask me in the halls and school I might be able to tell you a bit more about them :-P
"Theres 10 of us and 2 of you, what the fuck are you gonna do?"
This story started with Mike and Steve at the bar. They were completely drunk and headed out of the bar when Steve saw someone, can't remember who... I think it was the guy who was going out with his ex-wife or something. Steve runs over and hits him in the back of the head, the guy spins around and in Steves words 'swings at him like a women' which Steve easily dodges. He then says, "So thats how its gonna be, eh?" and continues to hit this guy till hes knocked out. Mike gets Steve and they start to walk away. Somewhere along the way, about 20 feet away theres a group of teenage kids who start lipping off to Steve when he asks them a question. One of the kids then says, "Theres 10 of us and 2 of you, what the fuck are you gonna do?" Mike responds, "I don't know but I'm sure as hell gonna find out" As he chages at them. The fight lasts only a few minutes, with Steve constantly being knocked down, and Mike picking him back up. They quickly then start to walk away, passing a bunch of police officers on their way out. Mike says he's hungry so they go to 7-11. Right when they're done in 7-11 and have nacho's in one hand, and hotdogs in the other they see 4 of the same kids again. Mike was so close to putting his food down and 'killing' them as he says, but they would see some squad cars around the corner, so they leave them alone.
"Fishing for Drunks"
I can't remember the town but Mikes uncle lived in a first floor apartment directly across the street from a bar. Every night they would take a wallet and fill it with Canadian Tire money, and attach it to a fishing pole. They were able to cast the line over the electric wires on the other side of the street around a phone pole right next to the bar entrance. They would slack the line so cars could drive over it without getting caught. They would wait for a drunk to come out stumbling from the bar, wait for him to almost get the wallet, and then tug on the line causing the drunk to fall flat on his face. They would do this several times to each drunk, and to as many drunks as it worked on each night.
From there were all slowly filtered off to bed.
Monday:
We all woke up, packed our things up and then we came back home ^_^ I showered, changed and then sat around doing nothing until about now where I started to make this livejournal :-D
I hope I havent left anything out, it was such a fun trip. I hope I get to go camping plenty of times during the summer.
Well rock on everyone, I'm gonna go take a nap, getting really tired now ^_^

You Know You're Addicted to Video Games When... |
Your wife tells you that you are, and you two kids; Mario, and Sonic; agree with her. Whenever something bad happens you reach for the pause button. You can microwave and eat a pizza pop using only your feet. You've spent so much time playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 -- you actually taught youself how to skateboard. You've worn out the buttons in the elevator of your apartment. The only joystick you play with anymore is plugged in to your Xbox. You've decided you won't go outside anymore due to the 'tacky graphics, poor sound and low playability.' You've moved your PS2 into the bathroom -- just in case you make it to the next level on Vice City. Your hands are so gnarled from gripping the controller, you can't even tie your shoes. You ask your doctor how many lives you have left. You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends who are addicted to video games. |
lol, I can't believe how funny I find this, even though I've broken free its only a matter of time :-P Games will always have a special place in my heart
